It is an honour to receive the 2018 Gold Medal eLit Award  for the category of Aging/Death and Dying for Journey’s End: Death, Dying, and the End of Life.

We are very grateful to all those who contributed, and this book would not be what it is, over 500 pages of perspectives both professional and lay-person oriented on death and dying. The book contains resources, quotes, checklists, and a multitude of perspectives; 54 contributors in total covering a variety of familial, patient and client relationships along with legal information, pet death and information on assisted dying and euthanasia around the world, grief and bereavement information, and training information for death midwifery, death doulas and death education.
